Would you like some personalized help for your situation? Feel free to call me or email me, my information is listed in the "About Me" section on the left. That is my personal cell phone number. Please understand that if I don't answer your call I might be busy, and if I don't call back right away I might be having a busy day. Regardless, I am perfectly willing to help you with the situation, problem, or idea and I promise I will not try to cross-recruit you. The reason I am willing to do this is that it will help me find new things to write about and it will test my ability to truly help people. I also really enjoy interracting with other business people.
Not only is the above paragraph about me, it should really be about you too. Recruiting is not about beating people over the head until they submit, it is about wanting, desiring, needing to help your fellow man with his situation. You may be helping somebody by introducing them to a new product, or you may help somebody to a better life by introducing them to a new opportunity, but you are always helping people. And rather than telling them what they need with a personal agenda, we help selflessly because we truly enjoy helping others out. Talking about business can be a natural outflowing of a friendship but only if both parties are engaged. You don't want to shut your friend down or alienate them by selling them something that they don't need.
Listening is a very important part of being a friend. Ask your friend how their day went, what went right and wrong, what you can do to help. Be willing to do whatever you can. This is all part of relationship building. Most people do this naturally but some of us are so obsessed with our business that we forget to have a life, and have relationships. Be sure to listen to your friends and be there when they need you.
I have heard selling and recruiting is kind of like a moving parade. Things change over time and you generally need to be in the right place at the right time for the person when it is their time to sign on the dotted line. Not everyone is an entrepreneur though, you may be giving a lot away for nothing in return. That's ok, it's good to have real friends that'll be there when it's your time to need them.

Small business
Small Business owners are largely forgotten. Thats why I only focus on them. I have experience several members of my family file bankruptcy due to small business failures. I also I suffered through 2 destroyed businesses due to failure however, in my failings I have learned some of the secrets to success. (Who can say they know it all?
What I like about small business owners is that they are not afraid to take huge risks and lay it all on the line. But, I agree they do need a lot of help with their marketing. I think having them go the social media and email route is not only the least expensive but its also the most effective. Thanks for the stats!.........
